The Beginning
Our first step towards providing quality healthcare for all was initiated through Sri Hospitals having global standards to give. These initiatives aimed to ensure that every individual has access to essential health services, improving overall public health within the healthcare system.
The Next Big Break
On April 14, 2018, Sri Hospitals marked a key milestone with the inauguration of its dedicated Foot & Ankle Clinic and the introduction of advanced Shock Wave Therapy from Chattanooga, U.S. The occasion was presided over by Dr. S. Ramesh Babu, Director & Chief Orthopaedic Surgeon, SPOT Hospital, and Immediate Past President, Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic Association.
An Important Milestone
On March 13th, 2019, to mark World Kidney Day, Sri Hospitals launched its Hemodialysis Unit, emphasizing the importance of kidney health for everyone.
The Chennai Basic Deformity Correction Course was conducted on December 14th, 2019, providing further education in orthopedic deformity management. CME Total Ankle Replacement Surgery was also conducted live on our premises 10th Aug 2019
Diagnosis Got Faster
We proudly installed the CT Scan – 50 Slice, launched on Friday, 24th July 2020 at Sri Hospitals, to enhance accuracy and provide better, faster, and detailed diagnosis for our patients.
Specialized Spine Recovery
We inaugurated our Sri Spine Care on 11th March 2021, offering advanced non-surgical spinal rehabilitation to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance overall spinal health with expert care and personalized treatments.
A Year Of Collaborations
Sri Hospitals celebrated the inauguration of Sri Cardiac Care, an event graced by the Honourable Health Minister, Ma. Subramanian on 14th of April.. In a further expansion of healthcare services, Sri Hospitals signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Royal Pearl Hospital, Trichy, on August 21st, 2023, to establish the Sri-Royal Pearl ENT Centre, a new partnership aimed at enhancing ENT care.
Expansion Continues
Sri Hospitals signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Swastya Gastro and Weightloss Centre to establish the Sri Swastya Gastro and Weight Loss Care, a new initiative aimed at providing specialized care in gastroenterology and weight loss management on 7TH September 2024.

KbH - Every Child Deserves to Walk with Confidence
At Sri Hospitals, we believe no child should be denied the joy of walking and living freely. Yet, many children across India struggle with foot deformities that limit their mobility and independence.
In 2010, Univ. Doc. Dr. Ernst Orthner and Veronika Gattermayr founded an initiative after witnessing this urgent need during their first visit to India. Their goal was to carry forward the mission of American aid worker Gail Kelly and the MCH organization, ensuring children continued to receive life-changing treatments.
Since then, Dr. Orthner and Veronika have traveled to India twice every year, leading surgical and conservative treatments that give children a chance to walk confidently. Alongside them, a second dedicated team — Dr. Paul Simons, Dr. Anja Helmers, Petra Simons, and Clemens Kilian — also visits India once a year to extend this mission of hope.
Together, these compassionate teams bring healing, dignity, and brighter futures to children in need — one step at a time. With your support, Sri Hospitals continues to spread awareness and make these missions possible, so that every child can walk, run, and dream without limits.
